Do u think i still might have a chance?

i went on a date with this really cute guy. We met for the first time yesterday. I was really shy and i didnt talk much. I then asked him if i had a chance with him and he said yeah i did. But i felt that we didnt have a connection. Maybe it was because it was the 1st time we met. Then i told him straight up that i dont think he likes me cuz we are complete opposites, He likes to go out and me not really. he said it wasnt true and he didnt understand why i said that. What do u think?
