Abstinence in teen church goers?

My daughter is involved in our church. When she becomes a teen and starts thinking about sex, I don't want her to think it is 'sinful'. I want her to respect her body and know that sex is a special thing. I am wondering if church has influenced anyone else? Did you go to church and what age did you lose your virginity?
