i don't think it's dislike as much as it is he doesn't like feeling awkward, if he is as outgoing as you say, and you are good at concealing your feelings, then perhaps it's the fact that it is conflicting with his personality that turns him off you, this may sound stalkerish, but i suggest you "study" him and learn some of his interests, or befriend his friends, and if that all seems to hard, then i think you should just try to match his energy, and see if he reacts positively to that
