Have you actually read 'The Lord Of The Rings'... or have you just seen the films...?

Finally read the books once the films had been out, it was easier to understand what Tolkien was banging on about. Still struggling with the barrow bit, if they had left that in the films they would have lost the audience. Tried to read those books for about 15 years before the films, but couldn't get passed the first couple of chapters.
