I'm trying to put together a scavenger hunt for a boy-scout troop to do at Renaissance Faire. Any suggestions?

I don't want the boys to feel obligated to buy anything just for the hunt. So far I have them looking for names of weapons shops, costumes shops, the name of a soothsayer, the name of a performer and his or her autograph, things like that. But it's starting to feel more like a worksheet and less like a scavenger hunt. Any Ren faire goers out there have any good ideas? Thanks.
