ANTS in my room!! HELP!?

There are ants in my section of the room. There are no ants near my trash can, its actually on the opposite corner. The ants are near my dresser where there is clothes, and sometimes, its a whole trail of ants! They are little brown tiny things, and they always go up to the window sill. There is a plant there and I can't find where they are coming from. And THEY KEEP COMING!! I cleaned the whole window sill with bleach and there are no food.... I think. I checked. Let me start off by saying that I started texting and chatting with a guy I like that I met on a dating website. Let’s call him Juan. I live in Los Angles and Juan lives in Texas. She could have just been having a bad day, but she could also have some kind of major personality disorder and come into work with a bomb strapped to her chest one day. Swelling and pain on left side right at bottom of rib cage....?

This is a touchy subject for my husband and I. Dr.s aren't giving us all the answers we feel we need. About 2 months ago my husband became deathly ill, he contracted a horrible MRSA infection which led to sepsis and pneumonia. He was in the hospital for 2 weeks and had to have surgery and chest tubes to drain 4 liters of fluid from his chest. He just ended 6 weeks of IV antibiotics for this particular illness. Every Dr. he sees says it's a miracle he survived. It's all thanks to the good Lord's love and grace. However...he has gone back to work (too early) and works very long shifts. He now has pain and swelling on the opposite side underneath his rib cage. He has had no fever, no other symptoms other than this pain. The ER said he was fine...blood work great and did xrays. They stated that all the muscles, nerves and bones are connected and the pain and swelling from the surgery (opposite side however) may travel and cause discomfort. His own primary Dr. says she doesn't know what it is either...she sent him for shingles testing! Which it's obviously not. I'm afraid for him...he is a strong man but something isn't right here. I don't have big faith in these Dr.s due to it was the ER that sent him home saying he had a viral infection that would pass in a week...had I listed to them, he would died in my bed! I took him into a different ER 2 days later and by that time his liver was basically failing and he was in fact dying. He has come such a long way through his healing...don't want to just let this go. Has anyone ever heard of this? It may or may not be connected to his previous issue. Would appreciate any insight as we look further for answers in a 3rd, or possible 4th opinion!

I think if you have acne you can use it to conceal the acne just to make you look presentable and fresh faced, unless theres nothing too wrong with your skin but you just wear it to make your skin look flawless or different coloured from your original skin colour. Strange Hallway Incident at School. Why Did These Guys Do This? 10PTS?

I'm a girl, 21, taking summer courses at my university atm. Last week, after classes were finished, I was walking through a hallway (on my way home) when a group of tall guys (maybe 4-5) were walking in the opposite direction towards me. They looked me over as I past them and then one of them suddenly grabs my arm and says "hey, you remember me, don't you?" These were all strangers so I was really frightened and said "no" (obviously). The other guys were saying things too but I just remember freeing my arm and walking away really fast away from them. I still heard their voices close by shouting at me for a bit and actually feared they were following me. But I didn't want to run and cause a scene since the hall was not empty. Luckily, they didn't follow me but honestly, I've never been so afraid in public in my life, like just the fact that that happened in a hallway with other ppl makes me really uneasy. Am I over-reacting? What should I have done? Or, what should I do if a similar situation occurs in the future?? much thanx.

Dear followers of organized religion, why may i ask do you need to organize yourselves and would you still?

follow your religion if it forbade gathering to worship together? why form a culture out of it? i mean it may just be how my experiences with churches have colored my views, but it seems to me church goers gather there to socialize, try to one up each other on seeming more devout, and who can wear the best clothes, sit through a few hours of talking with the occasional bored song or two(no one ever seemed to get into it except at this one tiny baptist church that i went to, which believe it or not i still occasionally show up because i love the people there), which is why when i was a christian i used to make a habit of defying church culture because i felt it was more important to focus on the lessons than dressing up or socializing, because i always felt it was gods house and he would love all even the most poor downtrodden men, believe it or not i learned a few good lessons from being a christian, about self sacrifice for the greater good and being humble when others are not oddly enough by doing the opposite of what others did in church, so even though most christians dont believe in ex-christians, i am one i just moved beyond the need of belief(and fear of) a deity to have compassion towards my fellow man, i learned the few good lessons contained in the bible without absorbing all the hatred and judgement it contained... i know many people may not like me for saying that, but it is true once you read it objectively. the main reason i moved beyond Christianity is because there is no evidence, and i choose to say "i see no evidence for these claims" rather than lie to myself claim to know without a doubt that any deity exists and be intellectually dishonest, i just cant do that.

My husband and I do believe in God, but we do not belong to a church nor do we go to church regularly. I have heard that babies who were never baptized are sent to Limbo instead of Heaven. I would suggest a different take on it, you are right God is completely opposite to what we think He is. In fact he has no "human" attributes, but "He" is the laws of Nature. The problem is that people don't know that these laws exist, and that all of the world abides by them, and when we don't we get "punished". It's kind of like a system that always seeks to be in perfect balance, so if something falls out of place it has to be corrected, therefor when humans act against these laws of Nature, we get repercussions, such as hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. So, you can call this God satan or you can call satan god, the point is that it doesn't help the situation. It all comes down to whether we want to align ourselves with these laws or not. You wouldn't call law of gravity "satanic" if you jumped out of a ten story building and found yourself on the ground in very bad shape? It would just be the law of gravity acting upon you. So same goes for "God", there is a system that operates our reality, and because we are not aware of this system we think that it's some kind of mean man in the sky or nice guy in the earth, as you put it when bad or good things happen to us.

I am a 19 year old girl and at the moment, I work in an office. If I were single and had dance experience, I would definitely consider working in a gentlemen's club, given that the conditions were the same as you have detailed. The money is excellent, and personally I would not find it morally degrading in any way. There is a big difference between grinding a pole in some burnt-out strip club that truckies go to, and dancing in a gentlemen's club where businessmen etc. go. To me, the label of 'stripper' doesn't have the same impact as it used to years ago. I have actually signed up for pole-dancing lessons in my home town, simply because it's amazing for fitness and it's something that not everyone can do. These are just lessons, but once I've completed the course, I would feel confident in working in a club and would not have a care in the world for labels. A couple days ago some friends and I were goofing off at the park in our neighborhood. One of them challenged me and another girl to a race. Iam 62 years old and ive seen many changes in religious beliefs during that time. If you do some research you will find that religions and their beliefs have to change along with societies changes or they will lose there Church goers. I remember 50 years ago there were only enough religions to where you could count them on both hands. now there are so many more. all the main religions 50 years ago would call you sac religious or atheist if you mentioned anything about the big bang theory. Now it is pretty much common knowledge. Science will prove there are no such things as miracles and magic. both become unmagical when they can be shown exactly how they were performed Science has pretty much proved that the big bang hap pend because of gravity. It hasn't proved how the material got there in the first place to make the big bang (not yet). and who knows maybe science will prove there is a god who created everything. Best friend lied and stole off me. What to do?

Extremely long story. I was at a party and I smoked weed and started hallucinating and losing it and wrecking the party. One of my good mates (guy who made the party) brought me up the stairs took me into a bedroom (looked after me for a while). Next day one of my other mates admitted to using my car to drop people off and apologized sincerley. However my best friend still denied driving my car. Couple days later, we were chilling in my friends car (guy who made the party) and I asked him if he knew who stole my money. He said he knew and that it was a friend that stole my money and that he would never tell me because it will make things worse. My best friend who happened to be in the car, started to buckle and choke and started accusing my mate why he was getting the blame and that he was a dog c*nt for accusing him etc (in short it looked like he knew he did it and couldn't handle the pressure so he lashed out). I also found out from my mate (and several others) that my best friend took my car out for 3 Maccas runs, had a joy ride (with alcohol in his system) and LET a drunk 14 yr old with no license drive it (I was also told that the 14 yr old nearly crashed my car 4 times). My mate (party starter) also said things which were true - my best friend didnt bring money to the party, he witnessed my bestie holding a lot of cash (change from the $50 possibly?) and that he pretty much shouted everyone Maccas (my best friend is on the dole, lives on housing commission and suffers financially, he never shouts anything). I confronted my best friend after this argument calmly and with no swearing or voice raising, he responded by swearing and telling me off and how he looked after me all night and would never do such thing and that the money used for Maccas was from people chipping in. I also asked other party goers that night and one said that my best friend would do no such thing and that he chipped in small change for Maccas. However I talked with my mate (the party starter) and he was 100% certain he took the money and that 'looking after you all night' doesn't mean sh*t. What do I do in this situation? Well in the dream I had just now (I just woke up), I was in it and so was my friend Gabrielle. There were also 3 other girls that I didn't know, a girl with black curly hair who was a bit of a narccisistic b*tch, a clumsy quirky redhead, and a kind of quiet brunette. I don't remember any of their names, but I think one of them may have been Claire. Well, we all went to the same high school (or rather was planning to, because tomorrow was the first day) but the three girls were hookers, because their parents had kicked them out. Well I went to see my friend gabrielle at a warehouse that the three girls were at (because Gabrielle was friend's with them) and on the way in, I saw a man make an offer to the redhead for $250 for a BJ... I too have had to deal with feelings of resentment and anger towards my abusive father. Asian Makeup How-To For Non-Asians?

I am half Chinese and half Irish, and was raised by my Asian side of the family so I am more culturally Chinese. My bf's family has been pretty sh*tty to me for the past year that we've lived together. Should I have sex with my aunt?

My aunt is a very beautiful and alluring woman, she has taken very good care of her body and doesn't at all look her age. She's 61 but has the body of a 29 year old at least if not early 30 something with long red hair and perky large breasts. that really depends on the denomination of Church I attend. As a generally rule I find like mindedness in study groups that follow the same doctrine as I. If I'm a JW is doubtful I would find a Mormon Church to be liked minded in my thinking or beliefs. Which I'm neither religions mentioned above

I am in a difficult position right now. I am only 20 and my girlfriend is the same. She loves me very much, she always wants to stay with me and know what i am doing, but I don't know what I feel. it might be the makeup you are using? I use dinair airbrush makeup and it never gets cakey or flakey...after i put it on i dont even retouch it through out the day..it just stays looking the way i put it on...and it covers up everything i mean everything! it makes my skin look flawless and its all water based so it doesnt clog my pores and make my skin worse...i love it!

Why don't my kitchen lights turn off in a certain situation?

My kitchen spotlights can be controlled by two separate light switches located at opposite ends of the kitchen (2 entrances). Each light switch works fine independently meaning you can turn the light on and then turn it off at the same switch. The problem comes when you turn on the light at one switch and then try to turn if off at the other switch. When you try, the light flickers once but then remains on. This problem is in both directions, meaning either light switch will fail to turn off the light if it wasn't the one you originally turned on the light at. I hope I explained that clearly.

Is it legal to stop your exhaust at the muffler? In NY state?

had a promising year with someone I was to marry. my parents, after giving an ear to gossip, turned against him and made him go through some terrible things. A couple of days ago I was pulling out of a driveway making a left hand turn. A car came around a turn at about 70 mph (the speed limit was 35) and the driver began to speed up, honk the horn, and was laughing as she almost plowed into my car with my 5 children in it. Luckily the police were coming from the opposite direction, and immediately turned around and proceeded to pull her over. Now today while in a parking lot with a 4 way stop, where four cars were positioned a young "gentleman" was leaned over in his seat preoccupied with something, and the other 3 cars had passed through that had arrived at the same time. I waited a few seconds and began to pull off. I guess the person behind him had became agitated over waiting so long with no movement, and the boy sat up pulled off and realized that he was about to hit me and the car in the right lane turning right. He then proceeded to scream out the window "Fuc*ing Stupid Bit*hes". I stopped my car and said excuse me, and he took off! These are just two examples of the attitude of our younger generation. School is out, and it seems they are only getting worse not better. I can't take my children to the mall without them hearing F this and F that, B this and B that. Young men seem to be calling every woman a Bit*h these days. I am a safe driver, and my last accident was in 1996 and have a commercial drivers license with over a million safe driving miles under my belt, but I can't figure out what to do lately. They cut you off, drive out of control, curse worse than sailor's, and have no respect for anyone whom is older than them. Where has respect and courtesy gone? What can you do short of careing a bat and giving them some act right? Strange Situation in Hallway at School. Why Did These Guys Do This? 10PTS?

I'm a girl, 21, taking summer courses at my university atm. Last week, after classes were finished, I was walking through a hallway (on my way home) when a group of tall guys (maybe 4-5) were walking in the opposite direction towards me. They looked me over as I past them and then one of them suddenly grabs my arm and says "hey, you remember me, don't you?" These were all strangers so I was really frightened and said "no" (obviously). The other guys were saying things too but I just remember freeing my arm and walking away really fast away from them. I still heard their voices close by shouting at me for a bit and actually feared they were following me. But I didn't want to run and cause a scene since the hall was not empty. Luckily, they didn't follow me but honestly, I've never been so afraid in public in my life, like just the fact that that happened in a hallway with other ppl makes me really uneasy. Since giving birth I have a stone to lose to return to my pre baby weight. I used to be a keen gym goer but as I'm a single parent I don't have the time to go any more. He might be scared, i had a similar problem to my dog. Just let him sniff out the area, it might take him a while to get used to the location. But my dog was 5 months, when i got him. Try and carry him like outside to an area and have him sniff around.

I'm not saying it's the only way, but college is the way to go to attain better jobs in life. When employers hire a person they look for more than a high school diploma/GED. If it's you and another person coming in for an interview, and they have a bachelor's, they're most likely going to hire that college graduate? Why? Simply because they're more educated. You say you got a job at an airport?What are you doing there? I could elaborate if you told me that. You're right, college isn't for everyone, but you should at least take a few basic courses to see if you can do it or not. The reason I ask this is because my grandmother told me that she once believed in God and was a regular church goer, when she was younger, but now that she's older, and with what she's seen throughout her life, she is a self proclaimed atheist. I used to be a devout catholic after high school, but then I entered college and took philosophy and humanities classes. I learned about many other religions out there and looked into them. By my junior year, I got tired of the Catholic church policy, and considered myself a "liberal Christian" and only went to church once in awhile. Then as I was finishing up college, I got to the point where I believed that all religion is "man made". And that I believe in God himself. By the time I got to grad school, I noticed a lot of my colleagues were just plain theists, agnostics, or atheists. Nobody was a church goer including myself at the time. So, now I am going to graduate from grad school, and my belief is that I still believe in a higher power, but I wouldn't call him or it God, more like a "supreme being", and there are some days it seems as if "I want to believe". Is there something wrong with me? LOL!

Strange Situation in Hallway at School. Why Did These Guys Do This? 10PTS?

I'm a girl, 21, taking summer courses at my university atm. Last week, after classes were finished, I was walking through a hallway (on my way home) when a group of tall guys (maybe 4-5) were walking in the opposite direction towards me. They looked me over as I past them and then one of them suddenly grabs my arm and says "hey, you remember me, don't you?" These were all strangers so I was really frightened and said "no" (obviously). The other guys were saying things too but I just remember freeing my arm and walking away really fast away from them. I still heard their voices close by shouting at me for a bit and actually feared they were following me. But I didn't want to run and cause a scene since the hall was not empty. Luckily, they didn't follow me but honestly, I've never been so afraid in public in my life, like just the fact that that happened in a hallway with other ppl makes me really uneasy. Best way to get rid of or hide cigarette smoke smell?

Okay, first of all, don't answer this question if you're not going to give me a helpful, relevant answer. That means don't say things about quitting smoking, the risks, the disadvantages, disapproval of me smoking, or anything that won't give me the information I'm looking for. Now that that's out of the way, it would be helpful to know that I only smoke outdoors with friends, and that I smoke about 10 cigarettes tops once in a while (don't bother saying anything about how I will smoke more cigarettes over time or anything about the addictive disadvantages). This is really the only time I really smell like cigarette smoke all over my clothes, hair, and breath. Since I'm trying to hide the fact that I'm smoking from my parents, I would like to know the best way to get rid of the cigarette smoke smells from these areas. A specific way for each area (clothes, hair, breath) is much appreciated. It is also preferred that I could hide the smells from these areas before I get home, so basically at a friend's house or outside. It is also accepted if you can tell me how I can quickly get rid of these smells as soon as I get home. However, if there is not a definite way to completely neutralize and get rid of the odors, it is also good to tell me how I can hide and conceal these smells (pretty good, at least until I can take a shower and brush my teeth). In short, I'm looking for the best way possible to get rid of cigarette smoke smells on my clothes, hair, and breath or if I can't get rid of them, hide them pretty well.
